Shorinji kempo<\/strong> is a modern Japanese art of self defense with a zen buddhist background. The training focuses on selfdefense, and mental and physical development. In this sport you learn to deflect and end an attack with as little force as possible, using position, balance, speed and strategy. You will be introduced to a game of attack and defense and learn how to respond effectively. Each training starts with a warm-up and a short meditation, and ends with a cooldown. Shorinji Kempo Amsterdam West is a small association with attention for every participant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
